Checking In

We ask that you remain in your car or wait outside in the courtyard until we notify you that your service provider is ready to see you. If you choose to wait in your car, please call us at 206.842.6679 to let us know you have arrived. We will call you back when we are ready for you. You will be greeted at the front door by a staff member who will provide you with our required liability waiver, we will also take your temperature, and have you sanitize your hands before entering the spa.

Feeling Under the Weather?

If you are experiencing any symptoms, we are more than happy to reschedule your appointment to a later date. If you show up to your appointment and are not feeling well, we will ask you to go home and call us to reschedule your appointment(s).

Face Masks

are REQUIRED at all times. If you are scheduled for a hair appointment, please bring a mask that wraps behind your ears, not behind your head. We encourage you to wear a disposable face mask if you do not want color to stain yours.

Cleaning and Sanitation

We are sanitizing each treatment room, all tools and equipment between each client/appointment. We have hand sanitizer in each treatment room, the restroom, and in the front retail space for your use. You may notice a $5 to $10 price increase when you check out from your appointment, which is for extra staffing, sanitation equipment (PPE) and cleaning products.

Limited Occupancy

To safely maintain distance from one another, only YOU and your service PROVIDER are allowed in a treatment room at once. Please do not bring any one else such as friends or children to your appointment. If you come to purchase retail products, you will still be required to wear a facemask, get your temperature checked, and sanitize before entering.

Online Ordering

Want to purchase products but don’t want to leave your house yet? We got you covered. You can now order products online! If you are unsure of what you are looking for, feel free to give us a call or email us and we will gladly help you out.

Cancellation/Late Policy

We require at least 24 hours notice before canceling a service, and 72 hours for multiple services and packages. Canceling without 24/72 hour notice will result in a full service price charge. All no shows will be charged the full service price. If a gift certificate is on file, the amount will be deducted from the balance.

Our treatments are precisely scheduled. Some services only require 15 minutes. We can not guarantee your service with a late arrival.

Children

Due to insurance and safety concerns, children under the age of 13 are not permitted in the spa unaccompanied nor are they permitted in the treatment rooms at any time. We request that you make arrangements for their care when you have an appointment at Renew. You will be able to relax and enjoy your time more knowing your children are in good hands. If your child care arrangements fall through, please reschedule. Remember, this is YOUR time.

Gratuities

As with all service-related industries it is customary to tip a person who has provided excellent service. A good guide is 15% – 20%, similar to what you may give your hairstylist. Renew Day Spa on Bainbridge Island does not include gratuity in our prices.

Gift Certificates

Renew Day Spa on Bainbridge Island offers Gift Certificates that are hand made and hand written. A lovely gift idea. They have no expiration date, and do not have to be used all at once. They are not transferable but may be used on skin care products and retail gifts as well as services. Gift Certificates may also be bought over the phone and mailed to you or the appropriate party, or purchased online and printed out. There are no refunds on Gift Certificates, sales are final.

Returns

Returns on UNOPENED skin and hair care products, or retail items will be accepted within 30 days of purchase. There are no refunds on Gift Certificates. There will be a $35 fee on checks returned for insufficient funds.

Pregnancy

Many spa treatments are perfectly safe to enjoy while you are pregnant. If you have any concerns please feel free to ask when you call to book an appointment.

Etiquette

Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment so you have time to adjust and relax before your treatment. Please note that our treatments are precisely scheduled so if you are more than 15 minutes late, we cannot guarantee your service. As a courtesy to other guests, please either turn your cell phone off or put it on vibrate. Also, please inform us of any medical or special needs at time of booking.

Attire

Many body treatments require that you disrobe. Always do whatever is in your comfort level; your treatment takes place in a private room and all areas not being treated will be covered with a blanket or towel. We provide spa gowns, robes and spa socks for your use while at the spa.

Emails & Addresses

Renew does not sell or give out our client home addresses, phone numbers or email addresses. They are kept strictly confidential for our use only. As a rule, you can expect possibly one monthly emails (or mailings) from us and only when we have a ‘client special’ or ‘new news’ to offer you.
